World Duty Free

rpa:vision are proud of their role delivering the freshly opened World Duty Free Biza tax and duty free store at Manchester Airport Terminal 2.

The 1,722sq m walkthrough store opened last Thursday and complements the original 2,300sq m Biza shop opened at the airport's Terminal 1 last year.

Part of the reason why this store has already been making waves is the phased build and meticulously scheduled delivery enabling the store to trade thoughout its development.

As the primary route for passengers from landside to airside in Terminal 2, it was essential for the build programme to enable safe navigation through the store at all times. This meant that rpa:vision's close relationship with Manchester Airport management, and a rock solid delivery programme were intrinsic to the success of the project. Whilst phasing the project undoubtedly added extra challenges a clear advantage was that trading figures were positive even prior to the store fully opening.
