Camper
: project management The original design of this store, inspired by the concept created in collaboration with the Catalan designer Martí Guixé for the stores of the commercial centres Fünf-höfe in Munich and L'IIla in Barcelona, turns the store into a meeting point for all people visiting this new centre. The design uses the iconography of 'obstruction markings', but Camper - with its particular irony, turns the tide and changes an obstacle into a meeting point. Both the walls and the windows are covered by obstruction marking-like rectangles in red and white (transparent for the windows) creating a showy contrast. Impossible to pass by! rpa:vision provided project management on the poignant store in the high end shopping centre Westfield London. |
